Amos Goren, Director.
Amos is currently a venture partner at Apax, focusing on investments in the healthcare area in Israel, Europe and the US. Between 2003 and 2006, Mr. Goren headed the European Healthcare practice at Apax. Amos focuses primarily on the medical device and biotechnology areas and is currently on the boards of Astex Therapeutics (UK), Cadent Holdings (US/Israel) and Procognia (UK/Israel). Prior to joining Apax, Amos was the CEO of AquaPharm Technologies, a US based, venture backed drug delivery company and vice president of Carmel Container Systems, a publicly traded packaging manufacturing company. Amos received his MBA from Harvard Graduate School of Business, an MSc. in Biochemistry from the Weizmann Institute of Science and a BSc. in biology from the Hebrew University.

Dr. Dan Hashimshony, CEO, Founder and Director.
Prior to founding Dune, Dr. Hashimshony was the chief scientist of X-Technologies, a medical device company. While at X-Technologies, Hashimshony led the scientific team developing a miniature intra-vascular X-ray catheter system for coronary radiation therapy. Hashimshony is one of the pioneers of miniature photo-excited, pico-second, terra-hertz radiation devices. He also led technology development with SELA Semiconductors to create novel devices for remote, non-destructive sensing of semiconductor properties. Hashimshony holds a Ph.D. in physics from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

Dr. S. Morry Blumenfeld, Director.
Dr. Blumenfeld is a former managing director of GE Medical Systems, Israel. He is a respected figure in medical research centers, universities, and community hospitals in the United States, Europe, and Asia. He is best known for his work developing new imaging systems, including launching the CT and MRI business units at GE. Dr. Blumenfeld is currently a partner in Meditech Advisors, the General Partner of Ziegler Meditech Equity Partners, a private equity fund specializing in medical device companies. He serves on the boards of several medical device companies, including Insightech and Oridion.

Daniel J. Levangie, Director.
Mr. Levangie is executive vice president and chief commercial officer of Cytyc Corp. Prior to that he served as president and chief executive officer of Cytyc Health Corp., formerly a wholly-owned subsidiary of Cytyc Corp. After joining the Company in 1992, Mr. Levangie held several key positions, including senior vice president, vice president of commercial operations, and vice president of sales. Prior to Cytyc, Mr. Levangie held a variety of sales and marketing positions at Abbott Laboratories.

Guy Shinar, Director.
Mr. Shinar is a medical device entrepreneur. He is a co-founder and director in EarlySense Ltd., which develops systems for early detection of impending asthma attacks. He also serves on the board of Neurosonix Ltd., a cardiothoracic surgery company. Mr. Shinar was the president and CEO of X-Technologies Inc., an interventional cardiology company that was sold to Guidant Corp. in 2003.
