Dr. Dan Hashimshony, CEO, Founder and Director.
Prior to founding Dune, Dr. Hashimshony was the chief scientist of X-Technologies, a medical device company. While at X-Technologies, Hashimshony led the scientific team developing a miniature intra-vascular X-ray catheter system for coronary radiation therapy. Hashimshony is one of the pioneers of miniature photo-excited, pico-second, terra-hertz radiation devices. He also led technology development with SELA Semiconductors to create novel devices for remote, non-destructive sensing of semiconductor properties. Hashimshony holds a Ph.D. in physics from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
Gil Rosen, VP Business Development.
Mr. Rosen manages Dune's strategic business development, corporate development, and investor relations. Rosen is a veteran business development executive with over ten years of high-tech business experience in U.S. markets, including four years at Bloomberg's global headquarters in New York City. Rosen holds an MBA from the Recanati School of Business, in the Tel Aviv University.
Gal Aharonowitz, VP Engineering.
Mr. Aharonowitz is an industry veteran with more than 13 years of experience in product development and manufacturing with early stage medical device companies and international public corporations. Prior to joining Dune, Aharonowitz was head of R&D at Lumenis Corp. where he managed a team of over 45 engineers.
Dr. Orit Yarden, VP Medical and Regulatory affairs.
Dr. Yarden has over nine years of experience in early stage medical device companies, combining technology development with product management. Prior to joining Dune, Yarden was chief of product development for Remon Medical Technologies where she led the transformation of core technology into marketable products in the cardiovascular discipline. Yarden holds a Ph.D. in biomechanical engineering from Tel Aviv University.
Bernard Spycher, VP Europe.
Mr. Spycher has over 18 years of experience in the medical devices industry in Europe and the US, with management responsibilities in General Management, Marketing and Sales, R&D and Operations. Prior to joining Dune, Spycher was the Regional Business Director, Central Europe for Cytyc where he lead 4 subsidiaries.
